Product boundary
Agentlink is a local command-line utility for managing user-selected AI coding
instruction-file aliases. It is not an AI model, hosted AI service, API, agent
runtime, or remote-execution service.

Data residency: local filesystem only
Agentlink reads and writes only paths selected through local configuration or
command arguments. It sends no instruction-file content, configuration, or
usage data over the network. It includes no telemetry, analytics, credential
collection, or remote content generation.

User control
Users choose the source and alias paths. Dry-run previews planned filesystem
changes. Replacing regular files requires an explicit backup or force choice;
directories and special files are refused.

AI scope
Agentlink preserves instruction-file bytes. It does not interpret, transform,
generate, or determine the precedence of those instructions. The configured AI
tools retain their own behavior, policies, and data handling.
